Abbie Miller is a licensed clinical therapist with expertise in various therapeutic modalities. Certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), ITR (Instinctual Trauma Response), Therapeutic Expressive Arts, and CBT/TF-CBT (Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), she is dedicated to creating a trauma-informed and client-centered environment that fosters growth and self-empowerment.
Abbie obtained her undergraduate degree from Maryland Institute College of Art, where her passion for art and teaching in Baltimore City inspired her to pursue a master's degree and clinical license. She graduated from Morgan State University with a master's degree in social work, focusing on at-risk children, youth, and families. Her deep interest in trauma work led her to acquire additional training, and her specific specialties enable her to provide therapy to survivors of sexual abuse, sex trafficking, and exploitation.
Alongside trauma work, Abbie has experience in addressing various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders, substance abuse, bipolar disorder, and more.
