Brooke Wise
Brooke is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with years of experience providing counseling services to oncology patients and their families. Brooke has worked with individuals not only suffering from early-stage cancer but also supporting patients with a terminal illness. Brooke draws from the experience of losing her own mother to breast cancer to provide unique support and perspective for patients and loved ones during a difficult time. Alongside focusing on oncology, Brooke’s desire to help others allows her to support clients through a variety of stage of life transitions and adjustments.
Brooke earned both a graduate and undergraduate degree in Social Work from Salisbury University. Brooke’s passion for oncology led her to acquire an oncology certification enabling her to better serve her clients. Traumatic periods in one’s life can foster feelings of isolation, being overwhelmed, anxiety, fear, and a wide range of difficult emotions to navigate. Brooke prefers to provide open ended therapy sessions where clients are free and safe to express any and all emotions associated with whatever trying period they are facing.
