Maranyely Beltran (pronounced Mar-on-gel-e) is a bilingual licensed clinical social worker in Baltimore, Maryland. Maranyely is passionate about making therapy empowering for her clients. Maranyely likes to tie in all aspects of a person’s identity when working with her clients as she strives to provide tools that are useful and relevant to each person’s life.

Maranyely is originally from Connecticut and attended the University of Connecticut where she earned a Bachelors Degree in Psychological Sciences with a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexual Studies. After moving to Baltimore, Maranyely attending the University of Maryland, Baltimore where she earned her Masters of Social Work. As a mental health therapist Maranyely has worked in various settings including schools K-12, preschools, foster care, private practice, and hospitals. Through all these different settings Maranyely has been able to works with all age groups ranging from 3-30+. Across the different settings, Maranyely has been able to adapt to the different circumstances that can either limit or support her client’s abilities to achieve their best self. The majority of her work has been focused on supporting victim/survivors of abuse, trauma, life transitions, and women’s mental health.

After becoming a mother herself, pregnancy and postpartum mental health are a true passion. Maranyely hopes to support women during these life transitions as she understands the complexities of this stage. Pregnancy is hard and mom guilt is so real! Maranyely is also a certified personal trainer and certified nutritionist who enjoys working out and getting outside in her free time. She is also fluent in Spanish, vegan, and has three German Shepherd Husky rescues.
